Professional catwalk make-up is a specialised aspect of make-up artistry and as a genre it differs due to the nature of scale, viewpoint, lighting and speed at which the key characteristics of the make-up look must be achieved. Often working under time restrictions, achieving a calm demeanour whilst working under pressure is essential in your role as catwalk make-up artist. Form an understanding of essential backstage etiquette, and the exciting design process which forms the collaboration between make-up artist and fashion designer.

This is an exciting area of the course. You can find out what really goes on backstage and what goes in to creating a catwalk show. You will have the opportunity to work on your creative skills and catwalk styles. This class will be taught by make up artists with extensive big-named show experience in Paris, Milan, London and New York.
